MVFN Canoe/kayak outing on the Mississippi River from Ferguson Falls
Date: Sunday, July 6, 2014
Paddle the Mississippi from Ferguson’s Falls up to the launch site across from Mal’s Camping and back. Keep an eye out for herons, ducks, swallows, otter, etc.
Car Pooling: from the Esso Station at Almonte, corner of County Rd. 29 & 16 (Christian St. & Wolf Grove) for departure 8:45 am.
Bring: Picnic lunch, binoculars, bug juice and life jackets (mandatory).
