Nature Talk: Saving our Shorebirds

Ted Cheskey, Naturalist Director of Nature Canada, will speak about his involvement in the initiative called “Save our Shorebirds” . This project has international scope connecting communities in James Bay and Brazil , places that are part of the migratory routes of shorebirds. Ted will explain how the shorebirds are monitored, their critical habitats and how they are building community-based conservation across the birds’ migratory paths.
