Nature Talk: Members’ Night and Annual General Meeting

This Members’ Night will feature three speakers:  Ken Allison needs no introduction and will continue with his compelling Nature Sightings.  This will be followed by a presentation by Anne Range, a retired elementary teacher who is new to Almonte and MVFN.  Anne has a fondness for birds and the environment and has been a board member of the Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory (www.bpbo.ca) for 12 years.  She will be sharing the work that is done at this remote research station, and how you can pay them a visit.  Our final talk of the evening will be by member Iain Wilkes, sharing his experiences with the Carleton Place Bird Count.

The Annual General Meeting will follow, at 8:15 pm.
