Fall Hike with John Grierson at the Mill of Kintail, October 19

Wander the woodlands (deciduous, coniferous, and mixed) of this favourite spot. John will point out riparian habitat, some geology, give a brief talk on the industrial aspects of the Mill and millstones, and wander through the Royal Astronomical Observatory installation. This walk will be a thin layer of information and discoveries, across a lot of areas and an opportunity to walk the fall woods with other MVFN Members. Unless an opportunity presents itself, this may be our last outing until Spring.
