NOTE: This lake has zebra mussels present which can cut your feet. Protective footware is recommended. Also discard weed and lake debris at the take out site and clean your vessels and equipment that has been in contact with the water before entering another water body. Silver and Mississippi lakes and waters downstream also have been found to have zebra mussels. If a canoe and equipment is dried for 5 days, then this will also helps prevent transfer of the invasive species.
