Speakers in MVFN’s natural history lecture series are experts in their fields, often at a world-class level. Lectures are of interest to a larger audience than those attending the talks. With the publication of this bound volume of lecture reports for the 2 lecture series held between 2011-2013  and including speaker biographies, the information is more widely available and we hope it will contribute to a broader understanding of our natural environment, and wiser interaction with it. Perhaps in reading a report or speaker biography a reader will be encouraged to follow in the footsteps of one of the expert speakers.
