MVFN, in conjunction with the Mississippi Lakes Association, has once again volunteered to conduct the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey on Mississippi Lake, for Bird Studies Canada.
The task requires volunteers to make four visits to Mississippi Lake, searching for loons and recording the findings. The visit times are weekdays during the last week in May, June, July and August, 2022. Visits last up to two hours.
Mississippi Lakes Association will organize a motor boat and driver for each team. The boat operator will coordinate the preferred day, time and location for launch with the boat driver.
