Connecting people with nature in Ontario's Mississippi Valley

Canoe/Kayak Safety Training Program

Hello all MVFN Paddlers! Would you know what to do in an emergency?

MVFN, in conjunction with a qualified local provider is putting together a training program to ensure we have a happy and safe season, whether on the water or in the woods. The purpose is to have a core group of skilled canoe/kayak members trained in first aid and canoe safety, so that we would always have at least one trained person to accompany all MVFN day trips. This is an insurance and MVFN requirement before we can continue our programme this year.
