SUMMARY:Nature Talk: Members’ Night and Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:February 20, 2025\nThis Members’ Night will feature three speakers:  Ken Allison needs no introduction and will continue with his compelling Nature Sightings.  This will be followed by a presentation by Anne Range, a retired elementary teacher who is new to Almonte and MVFN.  Anne has a fondness for birds and the environment and has been a board member of the Bruce Peninsula Bird Observatory (www.bpbo.ca ( http://www.bpbo.ca )) for 12 years.  She will be sharing the work that is done at this remote research station, and how you can pay them a visit.  Our final talk of the evening will be by member Iain Wilkes, sharing his experiences with the Carleton Place Bird Count.\nThe Annual General Meeting will follow, at 8:15 pm.\n
