Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Awards
The Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Awards are named for Cliff Bennett, naturalist, community volunteer, artist, retired teacher, and a founding member of the Mississippi Valley Field Naturalists. In February 2007, Cliff’s friends and family celebrated his 75th birthday by establishing The Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Fund in his name. The Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary Fund supports MVFN’s Cliff Bennett Nature Bursary awards program for local students going on to post-secondary education in a field related to nature and the natural environment.
