Volunteering with MVFN

Volunteers are behind all of MVFN’s activities and accomplishments. If you would like to volunteer with the club, please contact an MVFN board or committee member about current projects. Calls for volunteers will also be posted on this page.

Your involvement is of great value to the club! You might share your natural history knowledge by leading a workshop or an outing,  write a short article reporting on an MVFN natural history lecture or outing. Or share your paddling expertise by helping to lead or participate in our summer canoe outings, or organize the annual canoe camp. Help is also needed during lectures with audiovisual/computer equipment, assisting with set-up, refreshments etc. and at special events such as Kintail Country Christmas and our annual Spring Gathering.

Details of opportunities to participate in citizen science will be posted in a new section of our website under PROTECT. Some opportunities will also be posted under upcoming events and notices will go out as always on the MVFN e-mail network to members.
