2017 Canoe/Kayak Day Trips Schedule

See nature from the water’s edge on an MVFN paddle in 2017!

Paddling dates (tentatively three Saturdays and three Sundays) have been set for our 2017 canoe/kayak day-trip paddle program. Dates for the annual spring paddle, four summer paddles and a fall day-paddle are as follows. Details of location and leader will be circulated a week or more prior to the trips.

Saturday May 27: Spring Paddle on Bolton Creek. Leader: Doug Younger-Lewis  613-256-2738. Additional details to be posted soon.

NOTE: Leaders are still needed for the following tentative paddle dates.

Saturday July 8:  Location and leader to be decided

Sunday July 23: Location and leader to be decided

Saturday August 12: Location and leader to be decided

Sunday August 27: Location and leader to be decided

Sunday September 24: Location and leader to be decided

Volunteers are needed for the dates above; please consider leading a day paddle trip!

Our natural history talks are at 7:30 pm on the third Thursday in January, February, March, April,  September, October and November at Almonte United Church, 106 Elgin St. in Almonte, Ontario. All are welcome to attend! Non-members $5.
