MVFN Paddle on Pike Lake

Get your canoes, kayaks and paddles ready!

SATURDAY, August 12, 2017 (rain date Sunday, August 13)

We will follow paddle # 26 on MVFN’s Lanark County Canoe & Kayak Journeys map/guide. Pike Lake is south of County Rd. #10 between Perth and Westport.  The launch site is near the dam in Grant’s Creek and from there we will paddle into Pike Lake. We will stay south through the islands and then return. We will lunch on one of the many islands.  There is an extensive wetland at the east end of the lake, and in one of the mainland bays there is usually a small sandy beach that is good for swimming.
