Final Summer MVFN Canoe trip – Tay River

Trip will be to Tay River, Marsh and Canal (#21 on Lanark County Canoe and Kayak Journeys guide)

Carpooling details:
East Lanark: Meet at Union Hall, for departure at 9:00 A.M.
West Lanark: Meet at Last Duel Park boat launch area in Perth
for 9:30 A.M. launch

Bring: Lunch, binocs, camera, bug juice and sunscreen

Please register with Cliff beforehand -613-256-5013 or bennett@magma.ca. If you need a partner, ask Cliff and he will do his best to match you up.

Note: In case of bad weather, this trip will be cancelled. If in doubt, please call Cliff before 8:30 A.M.

The second MVFN Canoe/Kayak outing will be Sunday, July 6. We will travel the Tay River from Bolingbroke to Christie Lake.

Meeting places for carpooling are: -east half of Lanark meet at Union Hall, corner County Rds. 9 and 16
for departure by 8:45 A.M.  – For west half of Lanark meet at Tay Valley Municipal Offices, north of traffic lights at Glen Tay and Highway 7, west of Perth for departure 9:15 A.M.

Bring: lunch, bug juice, sun screen, binocs etc. Please be sure your canoe/kayak has all of the regulation safety devices.
