MVFN’s Environmental Education Projects Programme- Overview and Application Process

MVFN’s Environmental Education Projects Programme (EEPP)Kestral

Education of our youth in the ways of our natural world is an important concern of MVFN. Because we are a small club, with limited people resources, we decided to best achieve this aim by helping to financially sponsor environmental education projects in schools and youth groups where competent educators are already available to conduct such programmes. Such specialized programmes are now rather limited because of budget cutbacks. MVFN’s goal with EEPP is to help by financially supporting such environmental education projects where funding is inadequate.

The programme is targeted to all school and youth groups within our membership area of Mississippi Mills, Lanark Highlands, Carleton Place and Beckwith and immediate area. We will accept applications from teachers and youth leaders for any project related to the education of children about our natural world.
