9th Annual MVFN Canoe Camp: Algonquin Park!

Mark your calendars for our 2016 Annual Canoe Camp!

“See nature from the water’s edge” on a 4-day canoe camp with MVFN.  This year we are going back to Algonquin Park!  This is the first announcement for our annual September canoe/kayak camp for MVFN member paddling enthusiasts.

When: Friday, September 9, 2016 – Monday, September 12, 2016

WhereAchray Campground, Algonquin Park with paddling on Grand Lake, Stratton Lake and Barron River Canyon. NOTE: As with our day paddles, paddling is on flat water and generally involves paddling a maximum of approximately 2 hours with a break for lunch before a return paddle.

Cost:  Approximately $70 per person to cover group campsite registration, parking, firewood and other program costs. The estimated cost is based on the costs and participant numbers for previous paddling camps.  Note: If there is a deficit, additional registration fees will be requested.

Preliminary Registration: Please register as soon as possible by sending your name and email to Brenda Boyd at:   Registration is limited to a maximum of 36 participants and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Application forms and further details will be provided to pre-registrants by mid-August.
